International Students

START YOUR APPLICATION
Permanent residents and U.S. citizens follow Neumont's standard admissions process. Foreign students who are already in the U.S. with a visa,will have a modified admissions process depending on the type of vis. For students who live outside the U.S. and want to apply for a student visa, you will need to apply to Neumont using our International Student Application.
To get started with your application for admissions to Neumont University as a non-citizen, please contact our Director of Admissions.
Below you'll find a brief outline of the International Student Admissions Process, and a collection of all the documents you might need. Any other Admissions related documents you might need can be found in our Document Download Center under 'International Students'.
The application fee for international students is $125.
Required Documentation for International Students:
- Proof of sufficient funding
- TOEFL test scores
- International Transfer Form
- International Affidavit of Support
- International Application
Once you've completed these items, Neumont will create an I-20 for you. You then need to schedule an F-1 student visa interview at the U.S. consulate or embassy and pay $100 for an I-901 application fee. For this interview, you will need your I-20, passport, proof of I-901 payment, and other documents requested at the time the interview is scheduled. If you are granted an F-1 visa, you will be able to attend school at Neumont.
CREDENTIAL EVALUATION FOR INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS
Neumont University is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students and is listed under the Chinese Ministry of Education's recognized Utah institutions list as Northface University. In order to satisfy the general admissions requirements international students who attended high school outside of the U.S. must provide proof of high school graduation or its equivalent through a credential evaluation
service that is a member of NACES, at the applicant’s own expense. For a complete list of NACES credential evaluation services click here.
Applicants will need to authorize the credential evaluation company to send the evaluated documents directly to Neumont University after
evaluation. Contact the Admissions Office to get started with your international credential evaluation and I-20 Visa Processing.
NEUMONT TOEFL REQUIREMENTS
Proven English language proficiency is required if English is not the applicant’s first language. The preferable method of proving English proficiency is official test results of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Applicants with TOEFL scores of 550+ (213+ computer-based score, 79+ internet-based score) will be considered for admission. In addition to, or in place of, the TOEFL exam, the University, at its discretion, may require students to complete a telephone interview in English.
