Support for Students

Neumont University supports students academic progress in a variety of ways including:

  • A Professional Skills and Ethics class
  • Quarterly study skills workshops
  • Course advisement upon request
  • Free peer Academic coaching (tutoring)
  • After-school study sessions with computer science class instructors
  • The Student Advocates program

Problems & Challenges

If you are struggling in your class, or have a concern or question about your instructor, talk with you instructor first. If that conversation does not clear up the problem, contact the Academic Programs or Student Affairs staff in Rooms 213 — 215.

Grades & Classes

If you have questions about which classes you should take next quarter, your Grade Point Average (GPA), or how classes you have retaken affect your GPA, contact the Director of Academic Programs in Room 214 or the Academic Programs Coordinator in Room 213.

Tutors

Neumont University provides free Academic coaching (tutoring) for all students. Tutors are hired for specific computer science courses and can offer assistance with homework assignments or with general course information. Contact information and office hours for faculty will be provided the first week of class.
