BSWD

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE
IN WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

THIS IS A PROGRAM WITH SUBSTANCE - ONE THAT ISN'T JUST ABOUT DESIGNING A PRETTY WEBSITE. IF YOU WANT TO PURSUE A CREATIVE, DYNAMIC ROLE IN WEB DEVELOPMENT, THIS IS THE PROGRAM FOR YOU.

You know the internet is the inevitable future of everything. Develop and design web-based solutions using modern languages, like JavaScript, in our BSWD program.

WHO IS WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR?

It’s for someone who not only understands and loves technology, but also appreciates how people interact with it. You’ll design elegant web-based solutions that engage users while also exploring the science of interactive structure, full-stack development, and emerging philosophies in this growing and changing medium.

FOCUS OF THE WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The BSWD is a hybrid program that combines the art of web design with the science of web development. It's a software development degree that allows you to build the back-end architecture while also designing the user interface. Through labs and hands-on projects, you'll learn how to design user experiences and develop the correct web environment to make everything run smoothly. You'll also gain a solid knowledge of website architecture and an ability to code in a broad range of technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, .NET, and more.
