Program Enhancements Announcement
Neumont University is excited to begin offering an enhanced computer science program with Academic Concentrations beginning Fall Quarter 2008. While not required, students entering our BSCS program will now be allowed to select an Academic Concentration and explore Areas of Interest within that Concentration to help them increase the depth and breadth of understanding they have in a particular career interest.
Academic Concentrations include:
- Business Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Electronic Media, Design, and Entertainment
These Concentrations, and related Enterprise Projects offer students a way to tailor and specialize their computer science degrees.
Within these Academic Concentrations, students can take elective courses from a variety of academic Interest Areas. While some of these areas are core components of Neumont's current computer science program, we have also added additional Interest Areas and courses not previously offered.

- Software Engineering
- Business Analysis
- Database Programming and Administration
- Entrepreneurship in Information Technology
- Mobile Devices
- Multimedia and Interactive Entertainment
- Digital Design
- Software Project Management
- Information Technology Management
- Systems Administration
- Information Assurance and Security
- Web Development
