Working in a small team of developers; the atmosphere is pretty relaxed, except when it comes to requirements and deadlines

What value has your education provided in your current employment?

I think Neumont has given me even a larger skill set than is required at my current job; I feel comfortable executing my tasks at work, despite the fact that this is my first job in the software development field

Why did you choose to attend Neumont?

Mostly because of the project experience it provides: it allowed me to understand right away whether this field is for me and I graduated with a set of real projects that I could refer to when talking to employers. The accelerated and rigorous nature of the program with a focus on modern technologies has also drawn my attention when choosing the university — and has proven to be a very effective form of CS education.

Favorite Classes?

I enjoyed the Enterprise Projects a lot for being able to work with real customers and see how my skills could be used to solve real-world problems. I also found subject matter of the Design Patterns course very interesting and applicable.
