Neumont University's Associates of Science in Computer Science (ASCS) program distinguishes itself with an immersive, integrated program that focuses on demonstration of concept mastery through a problem and project-focused learning experience, a term we've coined Innovation Focused Learning.
Through the ASCS program, comprised of the first four quarters of our BSCS program, students can gain a mastery of the basic concepts of Software Development, and earn their degree in 4-5 quarters.
Associates Program Overview
- Gain a solid foundation of technical competencies and an understanding of industry best practices.
- Courses are offered from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday -- just like you'll do in the corporate world.
- A majority of your class work happens while working in groups as part of project labs.
- By working at this pace you can complete the program, and earn your Associate's degree in 5 quarters (that's just a little over one year).
Innovation-Focused Learning, the Neumont Approach
Our Associates program allows students to experience a range of software development phases through an innovation-focused approach. Students take core computer science courses such as:
