The Neumont Academic Timeline

YEAR ROUND COURSES

At Neumont University you'll attend classes on a quarter system year-round, which allows you to take a greater number of courses per year and more closely mimic a full time work schedule. By attending school at this pace you can earn a Bachelor’s degree in less than three years.

The Class Schedule

  • Attend classes five days a week
  • Your courses will run up to eight hours a day
  • Quarters are 10 weeks long, with a two to three week break between each quarter
  • In most courses class time includes a mixture of lecture, discussion, and hands-on work

SPRINT SYSTEM

  • Each quarter is divided into two, five-week blocks (Sprints).
  • During each Sprint, you'll take two to four classes.
  • Sprint schedules reduce the distraction of competing classes and homework assignments
  • Sprints allow you to focus on mastering one competency at a time and building a solid foundation of essential technical knowledge
