Graduation

2008 COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE

Friday, May 16th

  • 12:30 pm        Graduate check-in: Pick-up gowns and honor cords*
  • 1:30 pm           Group picture
  • 2:00 pm           Dress rehearsal for the ceremony
  • 2:40 pm           Line-up for Processional of faculty and students
  • 3:00 pm           Commencement Ceremony
  • 4:30 pm           Graduation Reception

*Please do not be late. Students who arrive after 1:15 pm will not participate in the Commencement Ceremony.

Guests should park in the Merrill Engineering Building parking lot. A shuttle will take you to and from the ceremony.

GUESTS
You may invite an unlimited number of guests. Guests do not need tickets. They should arrive at the Merrill Engineering parking lot at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

APPLY FOR GRADUATION  

  1. Print an Undergraduate Degree Application.
  2. Complete the Candidate Information and Diploma Information documents.
  3. Schedule a meeting with the Academic Programs Department.
  4. Sign the Undergraduate Degree Application form and return to the Registrar's office by the deadlines listed below. 
  5. A $100 graduation fee will be charged to your student account.

GRADUATION APPLICATION DEADLINE

  • March Graduates: January 21st, 2008
  • June Graduates: April 21 st, 2008

Graduates whose applications are turned in after the deadline may not be allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony.
