Professional Bio
I began acquiring my expertise in software engineering Neumont University in OCT 2008 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2011. I enjoy using both the Microsoft and Java technologies althought I do think that .net has a few features that I would like to see added to the Java technologies. After Graduation I will be starting my new Job working for Bosch in their Professional Development Training Program (PDT). This is a unique experiance that will allow me to work in four Bosch facilities on four diffrent projects with four diffrent teams. Each rotation will last for Six months and my Final rotation will be outside of the United States. After completing the training program I will then be able to decide where in the Bosch Corporation that I fit beast and settle down to one Location.

September 2011

Tell us about your work environment:
There's only three of us, one of those being my boss, and we each have our own office. My boss is a cool guy. He's programming right along with us so he understands how tough it can be to write software. He lent me his Jeep once! That was unexpected. Typically it's a quiet day where we're all just working on our assigned tasks, but every now and then we'll all sit down together and just chat about the latest news or video games.
What value has your education provided in your current employment?
Tremendous value. But if I to put a price tag on it, it would cost more than Iron Man's suit.
Why did you choose to attend Neumont?
The big one was getting a jump start on life. Getting out of school at 21 years of age with a Bachelor's Degree after project based learning sounded like a pretty sweet deal to me. The second was mostly the project based learning. There's only so much lecturing I can take before I move for that Stumble button.
Do you have any favorite stories from your time at Neumont?
Yes. Yes I do. My favorites had to be while out of class, just hanging out with my roommates and other Neumont buddies.
Favorite Teachers?
Steve Halladay, Jamie King, Tyler Young (now 'former' Neumont teacher), Jake Walkenhorst
Favorite Classes?
Algorithms 2, Java 2, DB 1 and 2
Where are you from originally?
El Paso, TX. The only place where you can drink a taco.
Did you live in student housing while at Neumont?
I sure did. Times I had to move: End of my first quarter, end of my third quarter, end of my sixth quarter, and then finally out of housing when I graduated. Made the best of friends by living in housing.
