Student Records Access - FERPA

In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), Neumont may not release students' grades, attendance records, or other educational records to the public, including parents or guardians, without a student's written permission.  Students who are economically dependent are an exception to this rule.

WAIVING FERPA RIGHTS

If you wish to grant to your parents permission to access your educational records, including grade and attendance information , you may do so by contacting the Registrar  and completing a FERPA Waiver Form, available under the Registrar's section of the Document Download Center .

REVOKING FERPA RIGHTS

You may revoke a FERPA Waiver by signing the “Student Sign Here to Revoke Waiver” box on the same FERPA Waiver document.  Return the FERPA Waiver documents to the Registrar.
