Home Sweet Home
Neumont University coordinates shared housing (typically 4 students per apartment) for students through a nearby apartment complex. The apartments are close to the campus, shopping, dining and other local entertainment. 2010-2011 Housing Rates: $1410 Per Quarter
Rent includes: furnishings, shuttles, utilities, and an on-site Resident Assistant. Note: Published housing rates are subject to an annual increase in January of each year.
STUDENT SHUTTLES
Neumont University offers Student Shuttles in the morning and evening to transport students from student housing to campus, and back. We also provide the shuttle for shopping runs once or twice a week because it’s hard to carry 25 boxes of Cup O’Noodle and three cases of 'Dew home from the grocery store (although it’s really funny to watch people try).
Students needing transportation outside of regularly scheduled shuttle hours can make a request in the Student Store. We’ll do our best to accommodate all reasonable shuttle requests but campus-related shuttle activities have top priority.

FULLY-FURNISHED APARTMENTS INCLUDE:
- Dishwashers
- A balcony or patio
- Walk-in closets
- A washer and dryer
- Off-street parking
- Pool, fitness center, and clubhouse
- Twin beds, couches, and dressers
- Wheelchair accessibility
RESIDENT ASSISTANTS
We employ Resident Assistants (RAs) to ensure your stay in housing is pleasant, uplifting, and that the distractions that can come with college life are managed properly (grades before games and all that stuff mom told you). They coordinate activities including day trips and social gatherings, both real and virtual (*cough* WoW *cough*). In addition, they coordinate with apartment management to ensure maintenance and other issues are resolved in a timely manner. They also supervise check-ins and check-outs, are responsible for rule enforcement, coordinate the driving of the shuttle to-and-from campus and are on-call 24 hours a day.
Yes, RAs serve as your liaison, social coordinator, chauffeur, and bouncer throughout your 2+ years in student housing - and they can probably teach you a thing or two about where to have some fun in Salt Lake City.
ROOMMATE ISSUES
If you are having problems with your roommates, contact your RA. If the issue cannot be resolved in a civil manner (negotiation, compromise, TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER), your RA may settle things via death match. FYI - they tend to stick to tried-and-true titles like Gears of War 2 and MW2. If the issue still isn’t resolved, you can speak with the Student Affairs staff. They can arrange for you to move to a different apartment. (While some of your roommates will be your life-long buddies, others won't. That's life....)
CHECKING OUT
You know how you hear about wild college parties where furniture is thrown out fourth-story windows and subsequently set ablaze, amid the cheers of encouragement from friends and strangers alike? Yeah, that doesn’t really happen here. First, you can take care of your vandalism needs online. Second, depending on the condition of your apartment when you check out, you may be assessed cleaning or damage-repair charges when you move out of your apartment.
