Student Housing

Neumont University coordinates shared housing (typically 4 students per apartment) for students through two local apartment complexes. The apartments are close to the campus, shopping, dining and other local entertainment.

Fully-furnished Apartments Include:

  • Dishwashers
  • Balconies
  • Walk-in closets
  • Washers and Dryers
  • Off-street Parking
  • Pool, Fitness Center and Clubhouse
  • Twin beds, couches and dressers
  • Wheelchair accessibility

Resident Assistants

We employ Resident Assistants (RAs) to ensure that your stay in housing is pleasant. They coordinate activities including day trips and social gatherings, both real and virtual (*cough* WoW *cough*). In addition, they coordinate with apartment management, making sure that maintenance and other issues are resolved in a timely manner. They also supervise student resident check-ins and check-outs, are responsible for rule enforcement, coordinate the driving of the van to and from school and are available on-call 24 hours a day.

Yes, RAs serve as your liaison, social coordinator, chauffeur and bouncer who is on-call 24/7. That alone is worth the cost of rent. View the Resident Assistants biographies here to get to know them better.

Roommate Issues

If you are having problems with your roommate, contact your Resident Assistant. If the issue cannot be resolved in a civil manner, your RA may settle things via deathmatch. FYI - they tend to stick to tried-and-true titles like Quake 4 and Half-Life. If the issue still isn't resolved, you can speak with the Student Services staff.

Checking Out

You know how you hear about wild college parties where furniture is thrown out fourth-story windows and subsequently set ablaze, amid the cheers of encouragement from friends and strangers alike? Yeah, that doesn't really happen here. Mainly because depending on the condition of your apartment when you check out, you may be assessed cleaning or damage-repair charges.

Thirty days prior to moving out of Student Housing, you are required to notify Student Services. When you know the date and time you will be checking out, arrange with a Resident Assistant for your official check-out. Consistent with the agreement you sign, you must stay in the housing program for four quarters or you will lose your entire deposit.
