Life is more than just coding and the team at Neumont is dedicated to developing students who are physically, socially, academically and emotionally prepared for the professional world. The Neumont University health related services include:
- Fitness Center
Complimentary gym memberships are offered to all students at no additional cost for the Marv Jensen Fitness Center. Marv Jensen is located approximately two miles from campus and features full service facilities including a pool, basketball courts, gym equipment, racquetball courts, fitness courses, personal training and more.
- Mental Health
To assist our students who may be struggling to cope with the pressures of college life, Neumont offers a service that provides confidential counseling services by phone 24 hours a day through the Student Resource Services. Counselors provide support, guidance and mental resource referrals. In some instances, students may be referred for face-to-face counseling at reduced rates. This service is offered at no additional cost to students, and can be accessed during school breaks, weekends and holidays. We encourage any students with concerns about the mental health of another student, whether the fear is that they will harm themselves or others, to help that person receive the support they need. Report any concerns to the Student Services Department who will handle the concern with the utmost confidentiality.
- Dining Options
Catering by Bryce offers a hot lunch service on campus Monday through Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Lunch includes two main course options, side dishes, a bread choice and a salad. Students may purchase meal cards in the Neumont bookstore or pay cash. During the first three weeks of each quarter, students may charge the cost of meal cards to their student account. Vending machines, microwaves and refrigerators are also available on campus. Many additional dining options are available within a short walk from campus, and dozens of local and chain restaurants are less than a mile's drive. Download our Local Dining Options Guide for more information.
- Campus Crime Statistics
The Neumont Administration wants to create a campus environment that supports the learning and development of every student. To support this we carefully monitor campus and neighborhood crime statistics to evaluate ways to make our environment safer. You can download our Campus Crime Statistics report to view the reported crimes on the Neumont campus, in student housing and the surrounding neighborhood. For more information about campus security contact our Student Services Department.
