Student Advocates

The Student Advocate Program is a peer mentoring program for first-quarter students. The program is intended to help students during their transition to Neumont.

WHAT DO ADVOCATES DO?

  • Provide guidance
  • Answer questions about classes
  • Share their own experiences
  • Introduce new students to the campus
  • Act as student orientation team leaders

During your first quarter you'll be paired with a Student Advocate (typically a student who has been enrolled at Neumont for at least six months). We encourage you to utilize the power of "been there done that" as you learn the ropes of Neumont. Plan to meet with your Student Advocate at least a few times during your first quarter. But in many instances, students work with their advocate throughout their Neumont experience.

Are you a current student interested in becoming an Advocate?  Contact the Student Services Department and get involved.
