GEEK-STYLE
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

The Office of Student Affairs keeps campus buzzing with activity all quarter long. Plus, our students are active citizens of Salt Lake City.

In addition, our project-based approach to learning means there are regular academic events to help students achieve academic, political, civic, and professional success.

NEUMONT EDUCATOR WORKSHOP
LEARNING BY DOING: PRACTICES & PITFALLS

At Neumont College of Computer Science students learn by doing. They immerse themselves in large-scale projects with deliverables, deadlines, and often with real-world employer supervision. Project-based learning can work in nearly any curriculum and environment, but it is not without its challenges. Join Neumont faculty as we dig into ways to effectively turn any type of curriculum into a project-based experience that provides a richer, deeper learning opportunity for student and teacher.
