MISSION STATEMENT

As an institution Neumont College of Computer Science is filled with people who are passionate about computer science education; our mission statement and values reflect that passion and show what drives our decision-making processes.

Mission Strands:

  • Learning Environment: Provide each student a safe and positive environment conducive to immersing themselves in a well-rounded, technology-focused educational experience.

  • Student Support Services: Offer every student support that provides them the best chance of achieving academic success and reaching graduation.

  • Equity Gaps: Identify and eliminate equity gaps within Neumont’s student population by providing access and opportunity to first-generation college students, Pell eligible students, minorities, females, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented groups.

  • Graduate Employment: Maximize the chance for all graduates to land in-field employment at highly competitive salaries compared to peer institutions and national averages.

  • Impact on the CS Economy: Make a positive impact on the nationwide shortage of computer science workers by enrolling and graduating as many capable and qualified students as possible.

  • Healthy Workplace: Create a healthy and positive workplace for all our employees where they can focus on their own productivity within their roles as well as their own personal and professional growth.
