A new chapter begins at Neumont: we are once again Neumont University. Restoring our previous name reflects the full university experience we now provide, one designed to prepare the next generation of technology leaders.
At Neumont’s annual Summer Game Jam, four student developers stole the spotlight with their winning game Overloaded, a chaotic robot arena shooter built in just 72 hours. Inspired by the theme, “It’s not a bug, it’s a feature,” the team turned a quirky idea- a gun that overloads and sends players flying into the heartbeat of their design. The result is a game that’s as much about spectacle as survival, earning Kian F., Chase G., Jacob L., and Bennie T. the event’s winner.
