ESPORTS WINTER SEASON '23 RECAP
ESPORTS WINTER SEASON '23 RECAP
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - What an epic season for the Neumont Llamas! Six of our eight teams battled their way into the playoffs this season. Our SSBU and CoD teams both advanced to the NACE Starleague Championships. And our Rocket League B Team qualified for The League Esports Breakout Division Championships.
During the NACE Starleague Championships, our Call of Duty Team A faced off against the UNT Dallas Trailblazers. As this season’s runner up, our CoD Teams are now more motivated for the start of next season.
Brandon Smith “Eukaryotic” made waves this season with his SSBU team. During this season’s championship game against George Fox University, they had viewers on the edge of their seats. Cheering him on from the livestream party, his fellow teammates and friends yelled: “Eukaryotic he’s our man, if he can’t do it, no one can!” Well, he and his teammates did it, by smashing the final round to take home the gold!
