AI is transforming how organizations operate, compete, make decisions, and scale. We knew tacking a few AI courses onto a traditional business degree wasn’t going to cut it, so we built a program around AI instead.

Neumont’s online BSAIB combines business, leadership, and entrepreneurship with project-based AI mastery, and emerging technologies. You’ll learn how to put AI to work solving business problems and building smarter ways of doing things.

WHO IS THE AI for business PROGRAM FOR?

Our online bachelor’s program was built for people who look at AI and think, “How can we make businesses work smarter?”

If you want to use AI to solve problems, rethink old processes, launch new ideas, or build an AI-powered venture of your own, you’ll fit right in.

The BSAIB combines business, technology, and leadership so you can turn emerging AI tools into useful business products. No previous coding experience is required.

Program Length

The BSAIB program requires 180 credits to be completed over 12 quarters.

FOCUS OF THE CURRICULUM

You’ll start with the building blocks of business, programming, and AI before moving into agent automation, machine learning, model customization, and project management.

Along the way, you’ll use what you’re learning to tackle business challenges and build solutions that improve how people and orgs operate.

After completing your foundational courses, you’ll choose a specialization: AI Business Management or AI Entrepreneurship.

FOUNDATIONAL PROJECTS

Start building right away. Foundation Projects introduce you to the tools, technologies, and problem-solving skills you’ll use throughout the program. You’ll take ideas from concept to working solutions while building experience with AI, programming, data, and the fundamentals of business.

DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS

This is where things get more interesting. As your skills grow, your projects get tougher. You’ll combine business thinking with machine learning, data analytics, AI agents, automation, and customized AI models to tackle more complex problems and build solutions that make life easier.

ENTERPRISE PROJECTS

Finally, during your Enterprise Project, you get to apply everything you’ve learned. You’ll work with a student team on projects for real companies with real problems to solve. Apply your business and technical skills to build AI-powered solutions, improve processes, and create a portfolio of real projects you can show off to prospective employers.

HOW LIVE ONLINE WORKS

NO RELOCATION. NO COMMUTE. 100% ONLINE. ALL NEUMONT.

This isn’t the kind of online degree where you’re left alone clicking through prerecorded videos and hoping you stay on track. You’ll attend live and asynchronous classes with Neumont faculty several times a week, complete practice projects, and move through the program alongside the same small cohort from day one through graduation.

Between classes, you’ll complete individual coursework, build projects, collaborate with fellow BSAIB students, and get feedback from faculty along the way.

specialization: CHOOSE YOUR PATH

You’ll start by building a foundation in business, technology, and artificial intelligence. Then, you’ll choose where you want to take it: AI Entrepreneurship or AI Business Management.

AI ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Have an idea worth building? This track focuses on turning opportunities into AI-powered businesses. You’ll explore business models, customer acquisition, monetization, fundraising, and more while building, testing, and launching business ventures of your own.

AI BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Want to make an existing business work smarter? This track explores how AI can improve sales, customer success, operations, finance, talent, and more. You’ll learn to rethink workflows, lead AI-augmented teams, and help organizations put emerging technology to work.

This online program has been approved by The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), and enrolled students are eligible for Title IV federal aid and VA benefits.
